Blended Learning Course “Researching Country Of Origin Information (COI)”

ACCORD is pleased to announce the next international Blended Learning Course “Researching Country of Origin Information (COI)” which will take place in May / June 2010 with the face-to-face meeting in Vienna, Austria. The course is organized by the COI Training Network. The training material which will be used is the Module on Country of Origin Information (COI) of the European Asylum Curriculum (EAC).

The Blended Learning Programme will provide you with information on how to conduct country research that results in relevant, reliable and balanced, accurate and up-to-date country of origin information. New skills will be directly applied in a case study at the face-to-face meeting in Vienna. The course also offers the unique opportunity to discuss the role and standards of country of origin information with colleagues from different countries.

The training will be conducted by one or two trainers of the COI Training Network.

The course data are as follows:

Date of E-Training Phase: 25 May – 18 June 2010
Date of Face-to-Face Meeting: 24 June 2010
Place of Face-to-Face Meeting: Vienna, Austria

The course language will be English.

The course participation fee for each participant is EUR 350,- for participants from government institutions and EUR 250.- for participants from non-governmental organisations. An invoice will be sent to you after registration of participants.
