Report on the UK Home Office's production and use of COI

The UK's Independent Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration examined "examined the efficiency and effectiveness of the Home Office functions that produce and use COI, specifically how COI products are commissioned, developed and disseminated, and how they are used within the asylum process."

EASO launches new COI Portal in Beta version, also publishes new report on Somalia

The European Asylum Support Office (EASO) announced the launch of its redesigned COI portal. EASO’s COI portal is now accessible to the public and focuses on the the collection of COI authored by national asylum administrations from EU+ member states.
EASO has also published a new report on Somalia.

The ACCORD COI training manual is now also available in Spanish

The revised edition of the training manual “Researching Country of Origin Information“, published by ACCORD in 2013, is now available in Spanish. We thank UNHCR for commissioning the translation.
