The US Department of State released its Country Reports on Human Rights Practices, covering 2013.

Freedom House published its annual report, “Freedom in the World 2014″. Some country chapters are already available online.

Human Rights Watch published its annual World Report, covering events in 2013.

A new 204 pages COI compilation on Iran has been published by ACCORD.

Two important publications on Afghanistan have been released: new UNHCR eligibility guidelines and UNAMA’s mid-year report on the protection of civilians in armed conflict. Both are available on ecoi.net:
