The Researcher is published three times a year by the Refugee Documentation Centre (RDC) in Ireland. It is a publication which combines academic papers, summaries of caselaw, guides to new legislation, reports of conferences, articles on RDC services and items of country of origin information.
The sources have been compiled by the UK COI Service on a country by country basis from contributions provided by Australia, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Sweden, the UK, USA, and also ecoi.net.
ecoi.net collects information for 160 countries from 120 sources on a daily basis to facilitate access to country of origin information relevant in refugee status determination procedures. The list of sources was currently revised and updated and is now available for download.
