The Researcher is published quarterly by the Refugee Documentation Centre (RDC) in Ireland. It is a publication which combines academic papers, summaries of caselaw, guides to new legislation, reports of conferences, articles on RDC services and items of country of origin information.

Since going online in 2001 ecoi.net became the most comprehensive public and free of charge portal of country of origin information for all parties involved in refugee status determination procedures. ecoi.net stands for quality and currency.
