COI Webinar on Afghanistan (German language)

Together with the Federal Agency for Reception and Support Services, ACCORD held a COI webinar on Afghanistan on 22 February. Its written documentation is now available.

The webinar will be held in German language.

Experts

Emran Feroz is journalist and author. Studied political science and Islamic studies. Reported for various international media on Afghanistan. Most recent book published 2021: "Der längste Krieg". Speaks Dari and Pashtu fluently and gained insights into the conditions in the country through numerous travels there.

Katja Mielke is Senior Researcher at the Bonn International Centre for Conflict Studies. Researches on the Taliban and the Islamic State in Afghanistan, as well as the situation of Afghans in Pakistan. Dissertation on local politics and effects of interventions in rural Afghanistan.
