1 August 2014: austria, bvwg, coi, standards
The Austrian Federal Administrative Court developed a checklist for assessing the quality of country of origin information decisions on international protection. We are publishing this checklist with kind permission.
The Austrian Federal Administrative Court was established in January 2014, taking over the responsibilities of the Austrian Asylum Court.
The COI checklist shall serve the Court’s judges to assess the quality of the country information used in first instance decisions.
It is based on the checklist developed by the International Association of Refugee Law Judges (IARLJ, 2006).
