ACCORD published a report on the situation of women in Chechnya, based on lectures by the experts Uwe Halbach and Svetlana Gannushkina. The report is available in German language only.
Uwe Halbach works as a Senior Associate with the German Institute for International and Security Affairs in the Research Division on the Russian Federation / CIS. Svetlana Gannushkina is working for the NGOs Memorial and the Committee “Civil Assistance”, which are directly active in Chechnya.
The expert’s lectures were given at a COI Workshop held in Vienna on 17 February 2012. The report has been cleared by both, Mr. Halbach and Ms. Gannushkina, and is available at the following address:
