According to Amnesty International Report 1995, an Oromo folk-singer was detained following a demonstration, while Ethiopian authorities "investigated whether her songs were seditious" (1995, 30). The folk-singer was later released uncharged after four months of imprisonment (ibid.). For additional information, please consult the attached documents.
