The meaning of the statement "Departure from Police Station Date and Time" in box 6 of a First Information Report (FIR) [PAK39665.E]

A Pakistani lawyer practising in Lahore stated that box 6 of the First Information Report (FIR), which reads "Departure from Police Station Date and Time," refers to the "inspection of the actual occurrence by the police" (23 Aug. 2002).
