Information on the National Autonomous Economist Party of Mexico (PENAM, Partido Economista Nacional Autonomal de Mexico), alleged to be affiliated with the Economics Department of the National Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City [MEX26928.E]

In a 5 June 1997 telephone interview, a representative from the Economics Department of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) stated that he was not aware of any political party or organization named the National Autonomous Economist Party of Mexico (PENAM, Partido Economista Nacional Autonomal de Mexico) and that no such party was affiliated to either the students or the faculty of the Economics Department of the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
