Information on the JAMA newsletter, which was produced by a dissident political group led by Dr. Kazem Sami, is currently unavailable to the DIRB. However, the attached Response to Information Request IRN5395 of 30 May 1990, which provides information on the JAMA and Dr. Sami, who was the group's leader, might be useful. Attached also please find four articles in Persian (Farsi) which provide information on Dr. Sami's assassination and funeral, which led to an anti-government demonstration in Tehran.
