According to a Tulsa World report, "Venancio de Moura, a veteran Angolan diplomat who signed the peace accord aimed at ending a two-decade civil war in his homeland, died Saturday [6 March 1999] in Paris from lymphatic cancer. He was 64." (10 March 1999).
