Information on the treatment given by police to the families of Russian models who performed as table dancers in Canada [RUS14083]

Information specific to this subject is not currently available to the DIRB. However, please note that a Soviet woman who performed as a table dancer in Canada reportedly told The Toronto Star that when she protested against stripping, "the men [who forced her to work as a stripper] threatened that her family in the Soviet Union would suffer" (2 Apr. 1991).
