Information on this specific subject is currently unavailable to the DIRB in Ottawa. However, West Africa reported in its 24-30 May 1993 issue that workers of the Universities of Ghana and Cape Coast had been on strike to demand better working conditions (874). The source noted that the strike in Cape Coast resulted in the indefinite suspension of the 32nd Congregation, which was scheduled for 8 May 1993 (ibid.).
