Several sources refer to a jarana, "guitar" player named Gregorio Solano who plays with the band Los Camperos de Valles (Corason n.d.; La Jornada Oct. 1999; Rounder Records n.d.). However, references to a Gregorio Piri Solano Solano could not be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate. Additional information on Solano, including any mention of his association with musical groups by the names of Banda Municipal or Banda Juvenil Municipal of Guapiles, could not be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate.
