A major suicide attack in eastern Afghanistan has killed at least 10 civilians, two police officers, and four NATO soldiers.
The attack occurred on July 8 in the Bagram district of Parwan Province.
Parwan provincial government spokesman Waheed Sediqqi said the bomber, who was reportedly riding a bicycle, targeted Czech soldiers as they were visiting a clinic in the area.
A Czech military spokeswoman said the four dead were Czech soldiers and that another Czech had been seriously injured.
Eight civilians, including a child, were also injured in the blast.
The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.
The attack took place amid deteriorating security in Afghanistan as most foreign forces prepare to leave the country after 12 years of war against Taliban insurgents.
