Information on the procedures at New Delhi airport with respect to document checks [IND17845.E]

According to a consular official with the Indian High Commission in Ottawa, Indian officials routinely check passports of all individuals departing on international flights from New Delhi airport. In particular, they verify whether or not such persons have the necessary visa stamps to enter their country of destination (4 July 1994).
