Afghan Police Say 23 Militants Killed In Latest Raids

Afghan authorities say 23 militants were killed in latest security operations across the country.
The Interior Ministry said in a statement on May 31 Afghan security forces conducted raids in several provinces, including Nangarhar, Baghlan, Samangan, Konduz, and Helmand over the past 24 hours.
The statement said seven militants were wounded, and 13 others arrested during the raids.
The security forces also defused nine roadside bombs and landmines during the operation, which began early on May 30.
