According to the Cultural attaché at
the Embassy of Iran in Ottawa, there is no university or college
called "Gendarmerie" in Iran (4 Oct. 1995). The Gendarmerie is a
police force use in rural areas (ibid.).
For information on the Gendarmerie as a
