following information may be of interest.
According to an article in Pravda, a
resolution was recently issued in Poland by the Christian National
Union's main council, one of Poland's political parties, that entry
visas should be introduced for citizens of the former USSR to deter
the influx of visitors (8 Oct. 1992). Demands have appeared in the
Polish Press for the "erection of more fences on the eastern
frontier of the 'European home' to afford protection against worse
neigbors" (Ibid.).
