Three Police Killed In Armed Attack Near Daghestan Polling Station

Three police officers have been killed in Russia's North Caucasus region of Daghestan when unknown gunmen attacked near a polling station, Russia's Interior Ministry reports.
 
One gunman was also reported killed in the attack, which took place in the Khasavyurt region.
 
A preliminary report that a bystander was also injured has not been confirmed.
 
Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has been projected to win a third term as president in the March 4 election with more than 60 percent of the vote.
