Information about Afenifere is scarce among
the sources consulted by DGDIR.
The attached articles refer to Afeniferi as
an Yoruba group within the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO).
The same articles also indicate that some Afeniferi members who
attended a June 1995 meeting were arrested by the police.
This Response was prepared after
researching publicly accessible information currently available to
the DIRB within time constraints. This Response is not, and does
not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular
claim to refugee status or asylum.
