The address and names of representatives of the Party for the Democratic Revolution (PRD) in León, Guanajuato (1995 to October 1999) [MEX32991.E]

In a 20 October 1999 telephone interview with the Research Directorate, an employee at the State Commission for the Party of Democratic Revolution (Partido de la Revolución Democrática, PRD) in the city of Guanajuato stated that the PRD municipal committee in León is located at No. 106, Ignacio Altamirano, Zona Centro. She also stated that the current president of the committee in León is David Martínez, who has occupied the post for about one year. The post was previously filled by Manuel Ramirez Funez (ibid.). She could not provide additional information on the PRD in León.

In June 1997, La Jornada reported that Pedro Medina Martínez, a former member of the National Action Party (PAN), would be the PRD candidate for municipal president of León for the July 1997 elections (18 June 1997).
