A representative of the Consulate of
Estonia in New York indicated that an individual married to a
permanent resident of Estonia has to apply to the Immigration
office to obtain living and work permits in Estonia (7 Jan. 1994).
According to the source, these documents should not be difficult to
obtain (ibid.), but he was unable to provide information on the
recourse available if permits are denied (8 Jan. 1994).
