According to a representative of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (CSO), "BRFK is an existing acronym of the Hungarian name of the Budapest Police Headquarters" (16 July 2002). The headquarters' address is Teve utca 4-6 H-1139 in District XIII (Budapest.com 20 Feb. 2000); however, there is a District V office located at Deák Ferenc utca 16-18 (Budapesthotels.com 20 June 2002). The BRFK headquarters is listed as being in the same building as the Országos Rendor-fokapitányság (ORFK) (Hungarian Police Headquarters) according to the CSO (16 July 2002).
For information concerning whether Hungarian police keep statistics on homosexuals, please consult HUN38572.E of 6 May 2002.
