Copy of a new amnesty law which came into effect in late 1994 [SLV19835.E]

According to the Director of the Institute for Human Rights at the Central American University Simeón Cañas or IDHUCA, the above-mentioned document does not exist (21 Feb. 1995).

For details concerning the amnesty process in El Salvador, please consult the attached copy, in Spanish, of the General Amnesty Law for the Consolidation of Peace, passed by the National Assembly of El Salvador on 20 March 1993.
