Information on the Convention nationale démocratique et sociale (CNDS) party, the treatment of its members by the authorities, the party's women's chapter and its chairperson, the party's economic advisor in January 1996 and on whether Mr. Adoum Moussa Seif was involved in a coup in October 1996 could not be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate.
