Follow-up to MAR35644.E of 9 November 2000 on "El Haraqa" (The Movement) party which is led by "El Mahjoubi" [MAR36124.E]

The Political Counsellor at the Embassy of Morocco stated in a telephone interview on 28 November 2000 that in Morocco, people refer to the Popular National Movement (Mouvement national populaire - MNP) whose Secretary General is Mahjoubi Aherdane as "El Haraqa" which means in English "The Movement."
