Information on the above-mentioned subjects could not be found among the sources consulted by the DIRB. However, according to page 1047 of the Country Reports for 1991, which is available at Regional Documentation Centres, "the Passport Law of May 1990 made passports available to all citizens, and the practice of limiting passports to specific countries of destination was abandoned in 1991" (1992).

This Response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the DIRB within time constraints. This Response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum. Please find below the list of sources consulted in researching this Information Request.
