Information on the present status of Salauddin (Salahuddin) Quader
Choudhury (Chowdhury) is currently unavailable to the DIRB.
However, the attached five articles refer to Salauddin Quader
Choudhury as the leader of the National Democratic Party (NDP), an
opposition MP and a former cabinet minister. None of these articles
describes the NDP as a Muslim fundamentalist party.
According to
Political Parties of the World, the NDP is a
centre-right political party (1988, 49).
