Whether religion is identified on birth certificates [LBN102317.E]

In a 16 January 2007 telephone interview, an official from the Embassy of Lebanon in Washington stated that religion is identified on birth certificates. An official from the Embassy of Lebanon in Ottawa corroborated this information in a 12 January 2007 telephone interview.
