No information as to whether the Daikin Sylhet Bani newspaper was in operation in July 1998 was found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate. The only reference to the Daikin Sylhet Bani newspaper was found in a report published by the Press Institute of Bangladesh in 1998, the data used having been collected in 1995.
