Twenty Killed In Ukraine's East Clashes In Last 24 Hours

Nineteen people lost their lives in the last 24 hours in Ukraine's eastern region of Donetsk, where Ukrainian army is conducting a military operation against pro-Russian separatists.

The Donetsk regional authorities on July 30 said that 31 people were injured in the volatile region since July 29.

The Donetsk Healthcare department says that the casualties include two people killed by a mine explosion in the village of Berestovoye on July 29.

Seven other people, including three children were injured in the blast. Officials in Ukraine's another eastern region, Luhansk, where pro-Russian separatist try to maintain their control, say one person was killed and ten people were injured in the last 24 hours.

Luhansk regional authorities say the military operations disrupted electricity, water and natural gas supply to thousands of local residents.
