NATO Soldier Killed In Afghanistan
NATO says one of its service members was killed in an attack in eastern Afghanistan.
In a statement on December 23, the coalition said the soldier had died after coming under direct fire by enemy forces.
NATO did not provide any further details, including the nationality of the soldier.
The incident brings to eight the number of coalition deaths so far this month.
Last week, six U.S. soldiers died when their helicopter went down during a mission in the southern province of Zabul.
