Pakistani Soldiers Killed In North Waziristan Blast
PESHAWAR, Pakistan -- Four soldiers have been killed and four injured in a roadside-bomb attack in Pakistan's volatile North Waziristan region.
A Pakistani official who asked not to be identified told RFE/RL's Radio Mashaal that the soldiers were on patrol when the blast occurred on April 21.
There are many insurgents based in North Waziristan who frequently carry out attacks on security forces.
Twenty-one soldiers and three civilians have been killed in attacks in the region in recent days.
