A military court in the Siberian city of Chita on March 6 sentenced a resident of the Zabaikalye region to 11 years in prison for throwing a Molotov cocktail at a military recruitment center. The court concluded that Sergei Lovchikov will serve the first two years of his term in a cell-like penitentiary, and the remainder in a correctional colony. Lovchikov is one of dozens incarcerated for similar attacks since Russia launched its ongoing invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
