Ajuuraan clan in Somalia [SOM40010.E]

According to The Price of Peace: Somalia and the United Nations 1991-1994, the Ajuuraan [Ajuran] are a subclan of the Hawiye (1994, Appendix, n.d.).

According to Ethnologue, in "Somalia (not Kenya) the Ajuran ethnic group speak a variety of Common Somali as mother tongue" (July 2002). For additional information on the Ajuran, please consult SOM17470.E of 30 May 1994.
