According to an article published by the
Foreign Broadcast Information Service 15 of October 1991, a
dusk-to-dawn was imposed on Kano from 19:30 to 05:00 hours GMT. The
hours were later extended to start from 18:00 p.m. to 06:00 a.m.
(AFP 15 Oct. 1991, 44) and the curfew was finally lifted on 18
October 1991 (Ibid. 18 Oct. 1991, 41).
