Information on whether any Campaign for Democracy (CD) members were arrested and detained around 18 March 1994 at CD headquarters on Imaria Street, Anthony Village, Lagos, and a list of names of all of those persons, their respective positions within the CD and their current status [NGA25340.E]

A letter requesting the above-mentioned information was mailed by the DIRB to CD president Femi Falana in Lagos, Nigeria, on 14 October 1996. To date, neither an acknowledgement of receipt of the letter nor a response have been received. Additional attempts to contact CD secretariat were unsuccessful.

This Response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
