Please find attached a series of articles
from the clipping files and the data-base of the IRBDC which
mention attacks against members of the SLFP. In addition, attached
is an excerpt from the International Alert publication entitled
Political Killings in Southern Sri Lanka. Part Three of this
publication contains a list of people killed in the political
violence in Sri Lanka, among which may be found the names of SFLP
supporters and members. The Appendix to this publication also
contains a report on the parliamentary elections of February 1989
in which there were allegations of violence being committed against
members and supporters of the SFLP. No further information on this
topic is currently available to the IRBDC.
