Information on the current situation of the members of the Women's Revolutionary Association [ETH10010]

Recent information on this specific subject is currently unavailable to the IRBDC in Ottawa.

According to the publication Women's Movements of the World, there is a "Revolutionary Ethiopia Women's Association" (REWA) (1988, 83). The Yearbook on International Communist Affairs identifies the REWA as an "Auxiliary Organization" of the former Mengistu regime's party, the Workers' Party of Ethiopia (WPE) (Staar 1989, 12).
