Definition of the term "Perestroiko" [CUB30480.E]

During an 18 November 1998 telephone interview, a language professor and Cuba expert at the Cuban Research Institute of the Florida International University stated that in Cuba the term perestroiko refers to a person who favours political openness (que favorece la apertura), a reformist (reformista).
