Unspecified problems in Santa Cruz during the June 1993 elections are reported in two of the documents attached to Response to Information Request BOL18903.E of 23 November 1994 (Financial Times 7 June 1993; Latin American Weekly Report 17 June 1993, 265). The latter source mentions "organisational problems" in Santa Cruz, without elaborating.

The other attachments of BOL18903.E provide additional information on the 6 June 1993 elections, although they have no specific references to allegations of fraud in Santa Cruz.
