Pakistani Taliban militants have claimed responsibility for the killing of an anti-Taliban militia commander in Pakistan’s northwest, near the Afghan border.
Fahimur Rahman was found dead from bullet wounds on June 27 on the ring road in the city of Peshawar.
The Tehreek-e-Taliban, or Pakistani Taliban, has claimed responsibility.
Rahman is described as a leading figure in the battle against the spread of Taliban militants in the Bara area of the Khyber tribal district.
