The country information of the BFA-Staatendokumentation (Federal Office for Immigration and Asylum, "BFA") as provided in the Country of Origin Information Content Management System (COI-CMS) is only accessible for users with the appropriate access rights. The Country of Origin Information Content Management System (COI-CMS) is a database providing information from available, reliable and primarily public sources in compliance with the standards of the BFA Staatendokumentation and based on the needs of asylum and migration procedures.
The COI-CMS serves stakeholders of the instances of the asylum and migration system in Austria. In application of § 5 Abs. 5 BFA-G the content of the COI-CMS is not part of the publicly accessible country documentation. Relevant information from the COI-CMS in individual cases is made available to the parties to the proceedings and made public by it being used in decisions.
