Policy of dual citizenship for the People's Republic of China, especially for a case in which a chinese citizen marries a foreigner. [CHN4273]

According to the attached information provided by the PRC Embassy in Ottawa, the PRC does not recognize dual nationality for any Chinese citizen. In addition, any Chinese citizen who has settled abroad and who has been naturalized there or has acquired foreign nationality of his own free will automatically loses Chinese nationality. No further information on this topic is currently available to the IRBDC.
