According to a staff member of the Department of Information and Publication of the Absorbtion Ministry and Jewish Agency of Israel, the Aliya Pocket Guide is now in its 8th edition and was probably in its 4th edition in 1991 (20 June 1995). The source added that to the best of her knowledge, the Aliya Pocket Guide has been available in Russian at the Israeli consulate in Moscow and at the 11 information centres in the Soviet Union and the successor states since 1991.
