No reports of the death in Mendoza of an employee of the National Transportation Regulation Commission (Comisión Nacional de Regulación del Transporte, CNRT) could be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate.
In a 14 March 2001 interview, the Chief of the Human Resources Department (Departamento de Recursos Humanos) of the CNRT stated that his organization had no record of an individual whose name matched that of the alleged dead person being an employee of the National Transportation Regulation Commission in 2000. The Chief further stated that there was no CNRT branch office in Mendoza prior to November 2000 (ibid.).
This Response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the Research Directorate within time constraints. This Response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
