Information on the New Democratic Movement
is limited among the sources consulted by the DIRB.
According to two sources, the New
Democratic Movement (NDM) is an opposition party headquartered in
Accra and led by Kwame Karikari (Europa 1996, 1392;
Political Handbook of the World 1995-1996 1996, 359). The
party did not win any seats in the December 1996 parliamentary
elections (Africa Research Bulletin 20 Jan. 1997, 12491;
New African Feb. 1997, 20).

Information on NDM links to the Ghana
